Comedian Ben Bankas looked like any other average American man in the short clip shared to social media Tuesday. He was wearing a black shirt, blue eyes and an expression of total exhaustion from keeping up with the stupidity of the modern world. But behind his everyman uniform, Bankas was hiding such sharp wit he should have registered it as a dangerous weapon.

“Are you sick ma’am,” Bankas asked an audience member wearing a big black facemask, despite the fact it’s 2024. Instead of answering, the woman burst into laughter. She knew what was coming next.
