In 1962, in the midst of the Cuban missile crisis, the fear was nuclear war, so mad-cap scientist Calvin and his pregnant wife retreated to their home-away-from-home bomb shelter. They had a baby, Adam and raised him there with good wholesome 60's values. Now 35 years later and with the all-clear from Dad, Adam is stepping out of the shelter and into the 90's...that's one small step for Adam, one giant shock for mankind.
