Idiocracy
An ordinary Army private and a prostitute are accidentally frozen for five centuries and awaken in a future so intellectually collapsed that they are the smartest humans left. Their struggle to fix a dying society becomes a dark comedy of corporate logos, junk-food crops, and pure idiocy. Idiocracy follows Private Joe Bauers, a deliberately average Army clerk selected with prostitute Rita for a secret military hibernation experiment. After the program is forgotten, the two sleepers wake in the year 2505 to find the United States reduced to a trash-choked wasteland of illiterate consumers. Joe quickly realizes that centuries of reverse selection have left the population unable to read, farm, or govern.
