Last Breath
A saturation diver is left alone on the North Sea seabed with minutes of backup air after his umbilical is severed, while his surface team races to find him. Last Breath follows Chris Lemons, a commercial saturation diver assigned to maintenance work on a North Sea gas installation in 2012. During a routine dive his umbilical line is suddenly cut, stranding him on the ocean floor far from the diving bell and with only a short emergency gas supply. Supervisor Duncan Allcock and fellow diver Dave Yuasa immediately begin emergency procedures from the vessel and the remaining support systems. Lemons must conserve every breath, stay oriented in near-total darkness and cold, and signal his position while the clock runs down.
