INCLUSIVITY PANDERING
INCLUSIVITY PANDERING
WOKE EVIDENCE:
• The show tries to normalize homosexuality as common and does so while presenting a time when it was especially uncommon (1979)
• The show over-represents women in law-enforcement during the 70s when female police officers were not common. While women in law enforcement are welcome, alteration of history is a classic example of inclusivity pandering.

Summary:

In Manhattan in the summer of 1979, a young man is arrested for a shocking crime, and an unlikely investigator must solve the mystery behind it before the true criminal strikes again.

"The Crowded Room" follows the life of Billy Milligan (Tom Holland), a young man with multiple personality disorder, as he navigates the complexities of his fractured mind. Under the care of Dr. Cornelia Wilbur (Will Chase), Billy's psychiatrist, the series explores the origins, struggles, and triumphs of his 24 distinct personalities.

From a childlike innocence to a manipulative alter ego, Billy's identities come to life, each with their own unique experiences and traumas. As Dr. Wilbur delves deeper into Billy's mind, the audience is taken on a gripping journey of self-discovery, healing, and the profound connection between doctor and patient.
