Anxious junior-high outsider Edwin and his only friend Flake endure family misunderstanding and daily school humiliation until their bottled fury drives them toward a shared idea. Triggered follows Edwin, a junior-high student locked in constant anxiety and sharp alienation from everyone around him. His sole real companion is Flake, another misfit who shares the same sense of being invisible at home and crushed at school. Their families consistently misread the boys’ silences and moods, offering little comfort or insight.
