Riot
The Riot and the Dance: Water is a 2020 faith-based nature documentary distributed by Angel Studios that serves as a cinematic celebration of the aquatic world. Hosted by passionate biologist and college professor Dr. Gordon Wilson, the film follows his travels across the globe to explore life thriving in Earth's lakes, rivers, oceans, and wetlands. Rejecting standard natural history narratives that focus strictly on blind evolutionary processes, the documentary frames the complexity of underwater ecosystems as the intentional, masterful choreography of a divine Creator. Guided by Wilson’s joyful and awestruck narration, the first half of the film captures the vibrant "dance" of marine life, showcasing stunning footage of sea turtles, spinner dolphins, manatees, and colorful coral reefs. As the journey plunges deeper, the plot shifts to confront the "riot" of the natural world—the danger
