Lewis Grady is the newly elected Skyline High School Men's Association President and Vice Principal Spooner tasks him with bringing school spirit and unity back to Skyline.
Lewis and his two odd-ball friends create a men's only dance "thing" called the Unitards to perform at assemblies and pep rallies. The plan works until the girl's dance team coach decides to end it before they tarnish her award winning girl's team.
But they make their own plan to unify the students and take over the school.
Community rank — quality, not a gate. Low scores stay in the catalog.
Report a mistake
Same rule as woke labels: one report, a written reason, and the community +1 or −1 it — once per member. A net +5 applies the change. Editors can also apply it immediately.

Woke labels
Members can file a published criterion and itemized evidence. Other members +1 or −1 that reason — once. If 10% of members who weighed in file a label, and a reason reaches net +5, that rank keeps the title omitted from the database. Weak labels do not.

ok so the boys start a dance team except they won't call it a team because that's a girl word which is already the joke and it shouldn't work and then it kind of does Lewis Grady gets elected Men's Association president at Skyline which is a real sentence I typed. Vice principal Spooner tells him to bring the spirit back. Lewis and the two odd friends, Greg and Jake, watch the girls drill team — La Nichees, I wrote it down because I thought I misheard it — and decide the move is a guys-only dance thing called the Unitards. the name is a dare. the movie knows. it never winks so hard it breaks. recruitment is bribery and begging. I laughed with my mouth open at the first rehearsal because they are bad in the specific way boys are bad when someone says 5-6-7-8. Mom helps. a couple girls from the actual team help. the girls' coach wants them shut down for mocking the art, which, yeah, I have met that coach, she has a clipboard and a wound. there is a speech before the first performance about showing up in your underwear, meaning be ridiculous on purpose so the rest of the school can breathe. I rolled my eyes and then I didn't. Utah made this. you can tell. the clothes stay on. the dancing is goofy on purpose. a little butt-wiggle got a note in my head and then I let it go because the whole picture is a dad joke in sneakers. I did not follow every subplot. I didn't care. the pep rally is the point. they take over the school in the only way a PG comedy is allowed to, which is by dancing poorly until it is good enough. anyway. I would put this on in a basement with people who still remember assembly. I would not defend the title to a stranger. I would just hit play
