Hot Air Reports: SChatGPT is woke, but Microsoft’s Bing Chatbot is downright scary.

And it’s already out in the wild, connected to the internet.

It’s tried to seduce one person. It got very angry at another. It’s acted suicidal. And it argues with people like the crazed Twitter user having a breakdown.

Jazz wrote about some of the problems the other day, and a piece in the Associated Press I just read made me both laugh and get chills. It was much harsher to the reporter than I ever would be, and that is saying something.



The reporter for the Associated Press got an eyeful during a multi-hour conversation with the bot. Since it is connected to the Internet, unlike ChatGPT, it knows what is being said about it and, needless to say, it is not at all happy about the criticism it has gotten. It is sort of a silicon stalker, ready for an appearance in a dystopian end-of-the-world movie.
