Red State Reports: There are several cities that deserve everything they are getting in regard to what the left calls the “migrant crisis,” and New York is at or near the top of the list. The city designated itself a “sanctuary city” years ago, something its politicians and residents were keen to brag about when it had no real effect on their lives. Now that illegal immigrants are beginning to overwhelm the system, though, it’s suddenly a problem.

Oh, it’s a “national problem,” is it? That’s weird because that wasn’t the line from Democrats when it was just El Paso and Yuma being absolutely wrecked by the illegal immigration wave on the Southern border. But send a few thousand illegal immigrants to New York, and suddenly, we need a “national solution.” How very, very convenient.
