Tim Allen Returns With New Sitcom – Is Hollywood Seeing The End of Woke?

WLT Report... Reports: One of the last men standing over in Hollywood is definitely Tim Allen.

The actor who played Tim “The Toolman” Taylor on Home Improvement in the 90’s hasn’t drunk the liberal poison and hasn’t succumbed to the woke mob.

His previous tv sitcom, Last Man Standing, ended back in 2021, right when things were getting insane in that town with the rise of ‘woke’ culture, which is just a watered down term for cultural Marxism.

Well, it looks like after about 3 years of woke agenda and ABC’s parent company losing millions, they’re probably in desperate-mode and ready to get back to what works, back to what the people want.

So ABC just gave the green light to have a new sitcom starring Tim Allen. And it should be woke-free because Allen wouldn’t have signed on if that was the case.

Variety reports:

Tim Allen is one step closer to returning to ABC for a third time. The Alphabet net has given a pilot order to his latest sitcom, “Shifting Gears,” from 20th Television. Allen is on board to star and executive produce the multi-cam sitcom pilot — which is still a working title — which will also be written and executive produced by Mike Scully and Julie Thacker Scully.
In the project, Allen plays Matt, the “stubborn, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop. When Matt’s estranged daughter and her teenage kids move into his house, the real restoration begins.”
Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Richard Baker and Rick Messina are the non-writing exec producers on the show.
“Shifting Gears” continues Allen’s long association with ABC and Disney, including the long-running hit (1991-1997) “Home Improvement.” Allen later starred on ABC’s “Last Man Standing,” which aired on the Alphabet web from 2011 to 2017, then moved to Fox from 2018 to 2021.
